Congratulations!  You're engaged!

Now let's plan your wedding...

Your forever love story starts today.

Planning your wedding should be an exciting time and as your celebrant I will be with you all the way to help navigate the planning and arrangements to get you married.

There is a bit of paperwork, a meeting or two, and discussion to create the ceremony of your dreams.  I will make it as easy and hassle free as possible to have all this happen for you.   So what's next?

  • Book a time for us to catch up either in person or via Zoom.

  • Our first meeting will be to chat about the details of your wedding - date, place etc, and I will explain the process of completing the paperwork, my role in your wedding planning and what will happen on the day.  We will also discuss fees and deposit information so we can get things started.

  • Once the deposit has been paid, I will need identification documents from you.  Copies can be emailed, however I will need to see the originals at some point before the ceremony.  These documents contain the information I need to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM).  Once completed a copy will be sent to you for checking, then we will arrange a time for signing.  Once signed, you're good to get married anytime one month after the date of signing.

  • We will be in constant contact by email (and phone if needed) to create your ceremony.

  • We will arrange a time for a full rehearsal for you and your wedding party (usually 2-3 weeks before the wedding).  At the rehearsal there is one more document to sign, the Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marry.

  • Then the countdown to your big day starts.

  • On the day of your wedding, I will be in touch with both of you by phone to chat about any final details (and to help calm nerves).   I will arrive at the ceremony venue one hour before start time to set up my PA and ensure everything is in place.  The Groom and Groomsmen arrive approximately 1/2 an hour before the ceremony.  We will run through last minute questions and plans and have them ready for when the Bride arrives.

  • During the ceremony I will prompt you all the way with wording that you need to say.  You can choose to repeat after me or to read off palm cards - entirely up to you.  You won't be left stranded!   During the ceremony we will need to move to the signing table to finish of the last of the paperwork - signing of your marriage certificate, then back to the front to declare you officially married and introduce you as the new Mr & Mrs, Mr & Mr or Mrs & Mrs!

  • Then let the party start!!!!!

As a couple, are you thinking about having a surprise wedding for your family and friends?

I'd be happy to discuss this option with you.
